I live in Portland, Oregon and let’s see, after 35 years and trying to quit smoking numerous times different things: gum, patches, cold turkey, it drove me nuts and I finally decided I got to do something.

Years ago, when I worked in the hospital when people would come in to the hospital with kind of a wheezing sound we used to call it the death rattle.

Well, over the last few months I was noticing when I’m lying down sleeping or getting ready to go to sleep all of a sudden I’m hearing this and its like I’m 51 years old going on 52, at this rate I’m not going to be around much longer. I got a wife, five kids, five grandkids, so I figure I need to be around a little bit longer.

So I start checking out the Internet.

I wish I could say you know I did this years and years ago and the amazing thing about it is I have little triggers once in a while that hit me and say well I just finished eating I should have a cigarette then all of a sudden there’s like boom, I don’t smoke anymore. I have no cravings, that’s the weird thing about it. A lot of times you got the oral fixation. I don’t have that.

I don’t have the thing where I need to do something with my hands. In fact the only thing I’m finding that is a little different is that all of a sudden I have this free time and it’s like what do I do with it. I used to always step out and have a cigarette, well now I’ve got this block of time and that’s not a bad thing.

It’s amazing.

I was so blown away by how well this program worked I called Steve just to thank him and I told him right out, I said “Steve, you’re a God. Where were you 30 years ago.” And I am so impressed with his program, I’ve been telling everybody about it, and I can’t say enough about it. I can’t believe I’ve been smoking 54 years at least; 3 to 4 packs of cigarettes a day, sometimes more too, depending on my rough days.

Finally a nonsmoker after 30 years of smoking, 10 years of trying.

Tried everything out there:
